On Eid al-Fitr day there is one tradition that kids always waited for : Envelopes… with money inside, usually known as Angpao. In Indonesia kids usually get the packets from their parents or relatives during Eid al-Fitr day. The idea of handing out these envelope is based on the Islamic concept of zakat, where every Muslim is required to provide at least 2.5% mainly to the needy. However, giving this packets on Eid al-Fitr day has become a tradition that shows value about gratefulness and care to others (esp.kids :D)
These are my design : Eid al-Fitr envelopes (green angpao) 2010 for Capricorn Design.
I made 2 alternative design for this, they chose the 2nd one.
Alternative colors..they took the last one.
